1958 CHRIS-CRAFT 17′ SPORTSMAN

This boat, which has had only two owners since new, was purchased used in 1961 by the same family who still owns it today. For nearly three decades, it was frequently used until 1988, when it was carefully stored in a garage as a restoration project. The boat is in all original condition.

Hull:

While the decking has been refinished, the hull has the original stain and has never been refinished. 

Bottom:

The bottom is original.

Engine:

Comes with the numbers matching 6-cylinder Hercules KFL engine. It was rebuilt in the 1980’s and turns freely/smoothly. (Video upon request)

Interior:

The all-original red upholstery is still looking good. 

Extras:

The boat comes with a weathered cover, original siphon bilge pump and a spare prop.

Trailer:

The tandem axle trailer is from the early 1960’s and in poor condition, but still rolls.
